Neptune introduces two new posters to spread the word on winning the fight against COVID-19
The return of COVID-19 have caught attention in Vietnam, so the launch of the spirit of achieving the top marks in the battle against the virus is timely. The aim is to spread the message, particularly to the people of Da Nang city and other central areas, as they fight against the virus.
The spirit is illustrated in 10 pictures in order to achieve top marks against COVID-19, using modern and creative visuals, along with rhyming verses. Communicating the message is done through friendly, fun, and memorable means, crossing generational divides.
The illustrations cover two main areas – “Uniting with Da Nang to fight against the virus” and “Spreading positivity across Vietnam and preventing the spread of COVID-19”. This is an opportunity to release pictures, representing the willingness of Vietnamese people to overcome the pandemic. Below are the ideals of the pictures:
Invoking famous sites including Hoan Kiem Lake, Dragon Bridge, and Ben Thanh Market, that span the length of the country from North to South. These images emphasise national unity with the people of Da Nang.
Using simple words that deliver strong determination and communication.
Using Dragon Bride – the powerful image and the landmark of Da Nang city states the faith of the victory against Covid-19
Despite being the frontline and still difficult future, Da Nang isn’t alone. The nation is still supporting them, supplying medical personnel and equipment, and sending the city thousands of lovely and courage messages
The unity of the nation and government guidance will reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Neptune spreads optimistic messages and reminds the nation that it has once beaten COVID-19 before. Confidently, we can do it again.
Medical teams and volunteers are fighting on the frontline without hesitation. Their fastidious work in taking care of hundreds of COVID-19 patients led to many full recoveries and returning to normality.
“Live within the rules” set out by the Ministry of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic is a sign of gratitude to healthcare workers. The small sacrifices you’re asked to make are nothing compared to those on the frontline risking their lives.
The pictures received immediate positive feedback across the nation, especially from those living in Da Nang. Minh Ha, 28 year-old from Hai Chau district, commented, “Days by days, I’ve seen many organisations sending practical and moral support to Da Nang. These illustrations are impressive; they’re simple but they deliver clear messages that everyone will remember. Even my parents like them and my brother in the third grade already knows them by heart!”
Feedback was received directly from the Neptune Facebook page, such as these comments from Phuong Anh, “If we can’t achieve something amazing in the battle against the pandemic, we can still share positivity, accurate information, and encouraging words like we have in these images to encourage our health workers along.”
By releasing this photo album, Neptune aims to offer strength and encouragement to everyone in Da Nang, helping the city stand firm and resolute. Along with spreading positive messages, the images work as a reminder to everyone to do their part in reducing the chances of spreading the virus. This is a tangible contribution that everyone in the community can make.
Prior to these illustrations, Neptune published two other albums on the theme of “the spirit of achieving top marks”, aiming to breed positivity and an awareness of social distancing, as well as encouraging people to spend more quality time with their families in April 2020. These albums were also received positive feedback across Vietnam.
